Open source
Kozorosa for Mac contains components published under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). That licence gives you rights over them: to have their source code, to change them, and to use a changed version with the application. This page is where you exercise those rights.
Updated 12 October 2026.
Each component below names the exact version the application carries, where its original source code is published, and, when we changed it, our change as a file you can download. When an update of the application changes one of these versions, the earlier entry stays on this page for three years.
Every other open-source component of the application, with its licence and licence text, is listed in the application itself, under Help → Acknowledgements.
Open CASCADE Technology 7.9.3
The geometric modelling library the kernel builds every shape with. It ships as separate dynamic
libraries inside the application (Contents/Frameworks/libTK*.dylib), which can be
replaced by a modified build of the same interface.
- Licence: GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1, with the Open CASCADE exception.

Our change:

How we build it:

libglibcm
The mathematical functions of the GNU C Library 2.43 (sine, cosine, power, logarithm…), compiled
on their own, so that the application computes exactly what our Linux reference computes. It ships
as a separate dynamic library (Contents/Frameworks/libglibcm.dylib), which can be
replaced by a modified build of the same interface.

Bun 1.4.2 — JavaScriptCore
The application's server is compiled with Bun, a JavaScript runtime under the MIT licence. Bun contains, linked into its executable, JavaScriptCore from WebKit and the Tiny C Compiler, which are under the LGPL. We use the official release of Bun unchanged.

Asking us for the source code
For three years from the distribution of each version of Kozorosa for Mac, on request to hello@kozorosa.com, we provide anyone with the complete corresponding source code of the components above, with our changes, on a physical medium or by download, for no more than the cost of distributing it.
Say which version of the application you have (Kozorosa → About Kozorosa) and which components you want.
