Privacy

The two Kozorosa products are built differently, and the difference matters more here than anywhere else: one of them never sends us anything at all. The headings say which is which.

In effect 8 October 2026.

The Mac application

Nothing comes to us

No account, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting. We receive nothing — not your models, not your name, not the fact that you opened it.

If you turn on the AI assistant, what you ask it goes straight from your Mac to the provider you chose, and to no one else.

If you report a problem, we receive that report — only when you press Send, and only what the dialog showed you.

The web service

An account, and your models

Using Kozorosa in a browser means an account and models stored on our servers. What that involves is below, in full.

Part one

Kozorosa for Mac

What we collect

Nothing on its own. The application has no account, sends no analytics, reports no crashes by itself and contacts no server of ours. There is no identifier for it to send and nothing that would carry one. The one exception is an issue report you choose to send, described below.

Where your work is

In the application's own folder on your Mac, inside the sandbox macOS gives it. The database, the geometry kernel and the server the application talks to are all part of the application and all run on your machine, reachable only from it.

Because we never receive your models, we cannot read them, lose them, hand them to anyone, or get them back for you.

What the application does reach

Three things, each only when you ask: the App Store, the AI provider you chose if you turn the assistant on, and our support desk when you send an issue report.

The App Store, to ask what you have bought and to make a purchase when you ask for one. That conversation is between your Mac and Apple. We are not part of it and we receive no payment details, no Apple Account name and no identifier from it — only whether this installation is licensed, which is answered on the Mac itself.

What Apple does with a purchase is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not this one.

The AI assistant, if you turn it on

The assistant is off until you set it up. Setting it up means choosing an AI provider — Anthropic, OpenAI, your ChatGPT account, or a model server of your own — and giving the application your key or signing in. Before anything is sent, the application names that provider, says what will go to it, and asks you to agree.

From then on, when you ask the assistant something, it sends that provider your messages, the parts of your model it reads to answer, and the files and images you attach. A concept render sends it the view you render. All of it goes directly from your Mac to the provider, only when you ask, and never in the background.

The provider handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy, not this one. We receive none of it — not your requests, not the answers, not your key, which stays on your Mac.

A model server running on your own Mac, such as Ollama, is not a third party: what you send it never leaves your machine, and the application does not ask.

If you write to us

Then we have your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we keep it while we are helping you and for as long afterwards as it takes to be sure the matter is closed.

Part two

Kozorosa on the web

What we hold, and why

  • Your account — the email address you signed up with, and a hash of your password. Without it there is no way to let you in and no way to tell your models from somebody else's.
  • Your models — the geometry, the history of how it was built, and anything you upload. Stored so the service can open them.
  • Service logs — the ordinary record a server keeps of requests made to it. Kept so faults can be found and abuse stopped.
  • Billing — what plan you are on and what has been invoiced. Card details are handled by the payment processor and never reach our servers.

What we do not do

Your geometry is not used to train any model, ours or anyone else's. We do not sell anything about you, we run no advertising, and there are no third-party trackers on this site or in the application.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Export is built into the application so that a copy of your models never depends on us answering an email. Write to hello@kozorosa.com.

If you are in the European Union, those rights are the ones the GDPR gives you, and you may complain to your national data protection authority.

How long we keep it

Your models and account for as long as the account is open, and then for a short period after it is closed so that a mistake can be undone. Logs for a limited period. Invoices for as long as accounting law requires.

Both products

The rest

Issue reports

Both products have a Report an issue button. Opening it sends nothing. A report reaches us only when you press Send, and it holds only what the dialog shows you before you do:

  • What you write — the title, the description and the steps.
  • Your name and email address, shown in the dialog, so that we can answer you. The email address is optional.
  • A picture of your screen, if you keep it. You can mark it, hide parts of it, or leave it out.
  • Technical details — the application's version and edition, your system and browser, its language and window size, recent error messages, and the identifier and revision of the model that was open with the last actions taken on it. Never the model itself. You can leave these out too.

The report goes to our support server at kozorosa.com, which also records the IP address it came from, to keep abuse out. We use reports to answer you and to fix Kozorosa, and for nothing else: they are not shared, not sold and not used to train any model. A report is kept while its problem is being worked on and until we are sure it is fixed. Ask us at hello@kozorosa.com to delete one sooner.

Download saves the same report as a file on your computer instead, and nothing is sent until you send that file yourself.

This website

Our web server records each page it serves: the page, the time, the IP address and browser it was asked for from, and the page you came from. We use that record to see which pages are read and to stop abuse, and delete it after 90 days. The site sets no cookies and runs no third-party trackers or analytics; your choice of language and theme stays in your browser.

Children

Neither product is directed at children, and neither collects anything from them knowingly.

Changes

This policy may change. The date at the top says when it last did, and a change that affects what we collect is announced before it takes effect.

Who to write to
