Repeat a body in a linear pattern

Rectangular Pattern repeats bodies in a row, or in a grid with a second direction, at an even spacing. Use it for anything that comes in equal steps: posts, shelves, holes in a plate.

Good to know

  • Drag the Spacing and Count buttons on the canvas to set them by eye, and click X, Y or Z there to change the direction.
  • Switch on Two directions to make a grid: Direction 2, Count 2 and Spacing 2 appear.
  • Distance type chooses whether the distance is the spacing between neighbours or the total length of the row.
  • Symmetric centres the row on the original instead of starting from it.
